City Youth Soccer in Winston Salem NC
invites you to take part in the 23rd Annual Twin City
Classic in August 2008. For 22 years, the Twin City Classic has
been a great way to kick-off your fall season. We offer multiple
divisions at each age group to insure a quality experience for all
participants and this year we have added an U10 Academy Festival
division. We are expecting 180 teams from NC and surrounding states
to join us this year and hope that you will be one of them. |

About
BB&T Soccer Park - After opening in the fall of 2006, the BB&T
Soccer Park is quickly becoming known as one of best soccer venues
in the Southeast. In the spring of 2007, the ACC Women’s Spring
Soccer Tournament was held at BB&T with Wake, UNC, Duke, Clemson and
Virginia Tech in attendance. 2008 events at the BB&T Soccer
Park include an ODP Sub-regional boy’s weekend (Region III), the
Inaugural Southern Soccer Showcase (included the ACC Women’s Spring
Soccer tournament and Wake Forest Men’s Friendlies) and the Region E
qualifying tournament for US Club Soccer’s National Cup VII. |

Check-in will be held at BB&T Soccer
Park on Friday night 8/15/2008 from 5:30 to 9:00. Field
check-ins are available, but only if arrangements are made with the
Tournament Directors in advance. Teams will need to present the
following documents; all documents must be for 2008/2009 season: · USYSA/State Certified Match Rosters (4 Copies – one with original stamp) · USYSA/State Certified Laminated Player Cards for All Players. · USYSA/State Notarized Medical Release Forms for All Players. · State Approved Permission to Travel Forms For more information on player/roster information please review the tournament rules. |

Awards: All players and coaches will receive a gift from the Twin City Classic. All Division Champions will receive a Champions Medal and a Team Champions Award. All Division Runner Ups will receive a Finalists Medal and a Team Finalist Award. Travel/Hotels – Our Travel Partner, Gale Adouli and her team of travel professionals at Great Getaways have secured hotel rooms in Winston Salem at a special rate for our event. All teams needing hotel rooms for the Twin City Classic are required to make their housing arrangements through Great Getaways. Please follow this link for more information on the booking process.
