APRIL TEAMS OF THE MONTH
94 Lady Twins White
coached by Paul Forster
| The ’94 girls have had a great first year
in Classic. They are 25-10-5 overall and 16-3-3 for the
regular season. They were the U11 champions for the Twin
City Classic, the U11 Green Champion in the adidas Labor Day
Shootout and the U11 Girls Elite Champion in the Julian
Brown Memorial Cup. Congratulations to the ’94 Girls and
their coach, Paul Forster. |
89 Twins
White coached by Greg Frick
| The ’89 boys, who play a spring season
only, have accumulated a good record this spring. The team,
which includes several new players, bettered the record from
2005 with a record of 6-2-3. Four of those victories came
from shutting out the opponent! The team had 26 goals
for and only 8 goals against them during the season. In
April, they won both games in the First Strike tournament
before it was cancelled. Congratulations to the ’89 Boys for
their hard work and determination, and to their coach Greg
Frick. |
90 Twins
Blue coached by Scott Hemming
| The ’90 Boys Blue team is also a spring
only team and they are one of TCYSA’s newest teams for the
05-06 season. They played extremely well this season,
beginning as the runner-up in the James Island tournament in
January. They are 10-1-2 overall and 7-1-2 for the regular
season. This team had a turnover in players at the beginning
of the season and the players worked hard to come together
to play as well as they did. Congratulations to the ’90 Boys
Blue and their coach Scott Hemming. |
