ALL orders MUST be submitted to the team manager or Academy volunteer, not to the TCYSA office. Teams will compile the orders and submit one order per team. Payment must accompany all orders and checks may be made to TCYSA. TCYSA is unable to provide a debit/credit option for this order.

Celebrate Youth Soccer!

September is National Youth Soccer Month

Celebrate the US Youth Soccer’s Four Messages of Youth soccer:

Week 1 - Fun: Whether recreational or competitive in nature, involvement in soccer is easy, affordable and rewarding.
Week 2 - Family: Playing soccer ties families together as schedules, vacations and family time are coordinated.
Week 3 - Friendship: The relationships and fun generated through playing soccer and their extension beyond the field.
Week 4 - Fitness: The health and fitness (physical, psychological and social) benefits of playing soccer.

TCYSA Office to be Closed on Labor Day

Training also cancelled for Labor Day

The TCYSA office will be closed on Monday, September 6 in observance of Labor Day.

ALL practices, including team training, GK training and pool sessions for Classic, Challenge and Academy will also be cancelled for Monday, September 6.

Twin City Announces New STREET SOCCER Program

This fall we are implementing "Street Soccer" into a couple of our fall training dates. The players that will be participating will be Academy Boys and Girls, U11/12 Boys and Girls Classic and Challenge. All players will need to wear a White Shirt (TWINS if possible) and will come to training at the designated time/dates that are below.

September 20:
5:00-6:15 for Boys: Academy, U11-U12 Classic and Challenge
6:30-7:45 for Girls: Academy, U11-U12 Classic and Challenge

October 20:
5:00-6:15 for Girls: Academy, U11-U12 Classic and Challenge
6:30-7:45 for Boys: Academy, U11-U12 Classic and Challenge

We are very excited about this event and have attached a write up for you to read over so you can learn more about street soccer and what it is! As this is going to include a lot of teams/players, we may ask for a few volunteers to help out, so if anyone is interested, please let us know.

Winners Announced for Twin City River Run

Team Challenge and Most Sponsorship Money Raised

Congratulations to the 98 Lady Twins White team who won the Team Challenge for the Twin City Run. This team has the highest percentage of players compete in the 5K run.

Congratulations also go to Emma LeRoy from the 95 Lady Twins Blue and Ben Slowey from the 99 Twins White for being the top sponsorship money raisers.

Lemonade and TCYSA

Players raise money for Financial Assistance Fund

On August 11, four TCYSA players opened a lemonade stand in their neighborhood and raised $30 which they donated to the TCYSA Financial Assistance Fund. TCYSA would like to thank Twins players Ben and Oisin Slowey, Justin Smith, and Johnny Whiitington for their contribution! Well done Twins!

1st Annual Twin City Field & River Run A Huge Success!

5K and Fun Run Presented by New Balance

A great group of 370 participants ran the 1 mile Fun Run or the 5K race at BB&T Soccer Park on Saturday, August 14. The weather cooperated with welcomed cloud cover as runners ran the course through the fields and by the Yadkin River. Here are the full results from the run:
